Make Sure You Do Your Bloods: Measuring Is Important For Diabetics

March 2nd, 2010 by admin

Measurement is actually vital for a diabetics survival there is no doubt about that, it has to be the most crucial thing for them.

Measurement is very important for a diabetic and it is safe to say that without it there is no way a diabetic could survive?

Bloods

MMost diabetics should really be doing their bloods 3-4 times a day just ot make sure that everything is going as it should. What if the blood machine wasnt in existence what on earth would happen then? It would be hard to habdle. Some people it could perhaps be possible but then that would mean there would be far my hypos out there. Every single year this would mean that far more people are going to die from the disease.

Insulin

So your winding the dial up on the insulin pen to give yourself the correct unit of insulin that you need. What about if this part of the pen was taken away, there would be almost no way of knowing what insulin to give and when. At best this would cause a few problems, the worst case scenario is of course death.

Food

Measuring is certainly important when it comes a diabetic and if this goes wrong then it could mean some very bad things are on the way.

So as you can see, measurement is very important when it comes to a Diabetic but they are not the only ones that need to worry about measurement, tools such as radar level switch along with level switches and solids level switch also help the world out too.

Make sure you do your bloods (you are not alone in not doing them) or it could result in something bad happening.

Foods That Make Us Fat: An Epidemic In The Western World.

May 13th, 2009 by admin

As North Americans and other Western European  countries continue to struggle with the epidemic of obesity, we must ask ourselves one very important question.

Why is 64% of our population obese or overweight? The answer can be resumed in a 4 letter word :food. In North America we have a lifestyle of eating quickly and a lot. But we have also a tradition of eating foods with poor nutritional value, and as long as it tastes great that’s what counts.

We have unfortunately left control of our food industry to the hands of lobbies. Lobbies for the promotion of sugar and other substitutes, Lobbies for the freedom of eating what we want, payed by fast food companies to promote their industry. Lobbies for the meat industry…

They all encourage the food processing industry to add more and more calories under the cover of marketing strategies such as low fat, low sugar, low salt, cholesterol free…
These days everybody is buying low fat products ,low sugar products, low sodium products, low cholesterol..products. People in America and elsewhere continue gaining weight . This really seems to make no sense. But it actually does.

By eating more of these low fat or fat free foods that are artificially tasty, you’re actually eating 30 % more calories than you should and more than eating full fat foods! Wow. But eating full fat foods is not good either so we are caught in the vicious circle of the food industry. The key is to keep all of your health decisions in your hands.

Learning all about what’s in the food you eat and what is a good source of fat, the amount of good calories you need daily is part of a sensible eating habit. Do you know how much sugar you eat daily? And what about the lipids. The bad one the good ones? Can you reduce your daily intake of carbs?

No more bread ,pastas, fries. You might be able to do that for a while. But can you sustain that type of dieting  and calorie checking all the time? That’s the ultimate question. If you are discipline enough maybe, but most of us aren’t. It is for these reasons that many of us are overweight or obese. Remember that most fat deposits accumulated are almost all food related. and difficult to eliminate because of  the type of lifestyle we have in the 21 th century.

Our Body is an incredible complex machine.” Whenever we eat these fats, sugars and starches, anything over our immediate needs signals our bodies to store the rest as fat.

Today we are still programmed with our ice aged men genes- when food was a rarety and building fat mass was the way to survive during winter time.

Today, food isn’t scarce…The opposite is also true. But our body often reacts like it hasn’t received food for weeks. What was good for our ice-age relatives is now a huge problem for most of us.

So simply put, we gain weight because our fat stores are simply overwhelmed, packing up far too many fat molecules for what is immediately needed.

This results in a stockage of fat all over the body.

That’s why if you are serious about losing weight you should not only count on dieting and also explore the market of natural weight loss supplements. Although some diet pill products are sometimes detrimental to the market, theirs still serious weight loss products with clinically proven ingredients for those seeking to lose weight effectively.
